Jack and I met up with some friends at one of Gardners many airports last week for a playdate. Jack loved looking at all the helicopters and airplanes and even got to sit in the Pilot's seat of a Schnook Helicopter. This particular airport that we visited is the home to many aircrafts that have fought in Iraq and Afghanistan. It made Jack and I think of Uncle Ernie and how much we miss him!
This airport is also the airport where the President flies into when he comes to Kansas, he has already been here twice this past year! It is so funny to think that the president flies into our little town of Gardner!
